It depends how you mean it.
I like Q4 cause of the crouch-slide-strafe-jumping (dunno how it is called). That is not possible in any other Quake, but tbh I never tried it in combat.
Also because strafe jumping is easier there, but I haven't tried that in game which sucks a lot. Gore has more active players than Quake 4 lol
Maybe all the reasons I think Quake 4 is better are useless in a fight.
